Levine was investigated by the LAPD after an anonymous tipster called its Juvenile Divison last week and said the Maroon 5 lead vocalist hit his baby in the face and struck his wife so hard.
Adam Levine was accused of physically abusing his wife Behati Prinsloo and their one-month-old baby Dusty Rose. According to TMZ, someone recently called the LAPD to report the alleged domestic violence. But fans don't need to worry because cops later found out that the allegations were untrue.
The site said that the anonymous tipster called LAPD's Juvenile Division last week, saying that the Maroon 5 frontman hit his newborn daughter in the face and struck his supermodel wife so hard that she fell to the ground.
Investigators then visited the musician's house and interviewed his wife Prinsloo. Finding no visible injuries to the Victoria's Secret Angel or her baby girl, the investigators determined that the claims were bogus. TMZ's source said the case's now closed and there would be no further investigation.
Meanwhile, Levine was understandably upset by the false domestic violence allegations, but he luckily understood that being famous meant he would need to deal with something like that sometimes. He reportedly appreciated and respected the LAPD, and was simply relieved when cops concluded the claims were untrue.
Levine and Prinsloo got married in 2014 and welcomed their first child last month. "The Voice" coach is enjoying his time with his daughter and recently told Ryan Seacrest, "I've been a parent for three weeks; what do I know? I don't know anything, but it's kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly. There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It's a beautiful experience."
As for his wife, the 27-year-old beauty happily flaunted her post-baby body in a picture she shared on Instagram earlier this week. "After 3 weeks of breastfeeding every 3 hours, no sleep and nursing my nipples back to life lol, I left the house to see my girls for dinner," she captioned the snap. "Life is so beautiful, can't believe how lucky I got."
