Donnie Wahlberg, and Not Kim K., Sets Guiness World Record for Most Selfies in 3 Minutes

The singer/actor took 122 selfies with fans who joined him and his bandmates on the sold-out eighth annual New Kids on the Block cruise in Cozumel, Mexico.

Here comes the new selfie king! Donnie Wahlberg broke a Guiness World Record for the most selfies taken in 3 minutes on Monday, October 24 after he managed to take 122 pictures with fans who joined him and his bandmatest on the sold-out eighth annual New Kids on the Block cruise in Cozumel, Mexico.

As seen in the video below, Wahlberg held the camera while a bunch of fans lined up on the deck of the ship took turns posing with him. "We did it!" he excitedly shouted after officials announced that he had shattered the record previously set when members of Aruba, a company in Singapore, took 119 selfies in 180 seconds.

Wahlberg then took to Twitter to share the happy news with his followers. "This happened and it's official! @DonnieWahlberg and fans now own the World Selfie Record with @GWR Guinness World Records!" he wrote alongside a video of the Guinness World Record official making the announcement.

"Thanks to the best fans in the world for an amazing #NKOTBCruise2016 We did that!" he captioned a photo of him holding up the award as he's triumphantly carried through the crowd.

Priot to Wahlberg, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson broke the same record. Back in May 2015, he captured 105 selfies in 3 minutes with fans at the London premiere of "San Andreas". Maybe, selfie queen Kim Kardashian will be the next title holder in the future.
