Lady GaGa Releases 'A-YO', Claps Back at The Chainsmokers

The Mother Monster has the perfect responds to the 'Closer' hitmakers who previously called her song 'Perfect Illusion' 'sucks.'

Lady GaGa has released her latest "Joanne" track "A-YO". The song was premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show on Tuesday, October 18 and has since been made available to stream on digital music platforms.

"Get off on me, my body's got you pleadin'/ Light me up and breathe in/ Mirror on the ceilin'/ Off on me, my body's got you pleadin'/ Light me up and breathe in/ Mirror on the ceiling A-YO, A-YO/ We smokin' 'em all A-YO, A-YO/ We smokin' 'em all A-YO, A-YO/ We smokin' 'em all A-YO, A-YO," she sings.

GaGa also responded to The Chainsmokers, who previously dissed her song "Perfect Illusions" by calling it "sucks." The Mother Monster tweeted the DJ duo directly with a link to new single "A-YO". "#AYO @TheChainsmokers maybe u guys'll like this 1 better," she wrote alongside a peace-sign emoji.

The Chainsmokers replied, "Haha @ladygaga RESPECT."

"Joanne" is set to be released on Friday, October 21. GaGa is currently performing a small series of Dive Bar shows across the country. She is set to headline the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show in February.
