The Mother Monster becomes the first female artist with most No. 1 albums in a decade, beating out Beyonce and Taylor Swift.

Lady GaGa earns her fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with "Joanne". The fifth studio album by the Mother Monster has 201,000 total copies sold this week, including 170,000 in traditional album sales, according to Nielsen Music.

GaGa becomes the first female artist with most No. 1 albums in a decade, beating out Beyonce Knowles and Taylor Swift, who each earned three No. 1 albums during the decade. GaGa's 201,000 equivalent album units launch is also the fourth-largest debut of 2016 and the second-biggest for a woman. Ahead of it are Drake's "Views" (1.04 million copies sold), Beyonce's "Lemonade" (653,000) and Frank Ocean's "Blonde" (276,000 units).

In terms of traditional sales, "Joanne", meanwhile, becomes the seventh-largest bow of the year and the second-biggest for a woman, behind Drake's "Views" (852,000 copies sold), Beyonce's "Lemonade" (485,000), Frank Ocean's "Blonde" (232,000), David Bowie's "Blackstar" (174,000), Radiohead's "A Moon Shaped Pool" (173,000) and Blink-182's "California" (172,000).

GaGa thanks fans for her new achievement. She posts on Twitter, "I can't believe I'm the Female Artist with THE MOST #1 ALBUMS THIS DECADE! 4 #1s That's a grand slam! @billboard Thank you to my fans!"
