Dan Stevens' David Haller wants to know if it's real in the fresh sneak peek packed with crazy scenes.
FX has released a new teaser for its highly anticipated new series "Legion". The video is packed with crazy scenes which depict the surroundings of Dan Stevens' David Haller. Things floating around him, people moving backwards and a man throwing another guy without touching him are some of the things seen in the video.
But it could be just David's wild imagination as he himself is not sure of what really happens. "He believes he's mentally ill, but he may be the most powerful mutant we've ever encountered," someone says of David. "I have to know, is this real?" David asks a woman at the end of the sneak peek.
The teaser also reveals that the new series will premiere in February 2017, though the exact date is yet to be announced.
An "X-Men" spin-off series, "Legion" follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, he has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. After a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he's confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real.
In the comics, David is the son of X-Men founder Charles Xavier a.k.a. Professor X and Israeli Holocaust survivor Gabrielle Haller.
The cast also includes Aubrey Plaza who stars as David's friend Lenny, Jean Smart as a therapist named Melanie, Rachel Keller as a self-sufficient and street smart named Syd, and many others. Noah Hawley ("Fargo") serves as showrunner.
