Lynda Carter makes her debut as POTUS as the DEO is assigned to protect the President and bring in the responsible party.
Is Mon-El a friend or foe? [SPOILER ALERT!] After he woke up in the latest episode of "Supergirl", he doesn't act nice toward the titular superhero as seen in a preview for next week's outing.
But there are other aliens who pose danger to people on Earth, particularly to the President, played by Lynda Carter. In the sneak peek, President Olivia Marsdin tells the DEO that their mission is to hunt down renegade aliens.
"Some people are just bad. There's nothing you can do to change them," Lena Luthor says. Meanwhile, Kara and Alex team up to stop those evil aliens.
"Welcome to Earth" airs Monday, October 24 at 8/7c on The CW. According to the official synopsis, "an attack is made on the President as hot-button, alien vs. human rights issues heat up in National City. Supergirl and the DEO are assigned to protect the President and bring in the responsible party."
"Alex teams up with Detective Maggie Sawyer to investigate the case while Kara searches for a recently escaped Mon-El (Chris Wood), who she fears may be the alien behind the assault."
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg recently talked about the dynamic between Kara and Mon-El. "How he and Kara come together by the end is, hopefully, pretty clever and interesting," he said. "We're going to explore in our universe the idea that Daxam and Krypton were sister worlds, but they didn't really get along. There's a lot of innate hostility that Mon-El and Kara have for each other simply because of their backgrounds."
Kreisberg also teased Superman's possible return, after he flew back to Metropolis in the second episode. "We're working on it. We'll see," he said about having Tyler Hoechlin back as the Man of Steel. Of Cat Grant who left the office in the latest outing, Kreisberg promised we would see Calista Flockhart's character again. "We're still trying to work out her schedule," he revealed.
