'Empire' taps the 'House Bunny' actress to take the role of Tory Ash, who works closely with Jussie Smollet's Jamal in season 3.
Rumer Willis ("The House Bunny", "The Odd Way Home", "The Escort") reportedly joins "Empire" season 3. The series has tapped the winner of "Dancing with the Stars" season 20 to take a recurring role in the current third season.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Willis will play Tory Ash, who is a "brilliant but volatile" singer and songwriter. She works closely with Jamal (Jussie Smollett) as he creates his most important musical work yet. Ash will also be attempting to make a comeback and her unwillingness to shy away from controversy will have ripple effects through the Lyon dynasty.
The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore joins an impressive group of guest stars on "Empire" season 3, which includes Mariah Carey, Taye Diggs, Phylicia Rashad, French Montana, Birdman, Romeo Miller and Sierra McClain.
Willis previously recurred on "CSI: NY" as Mackendra Taylor, played the role of Gia Maneti on "90210", guest starred on "Hawaii Five-0" as Sabrina Lane and as Zoe on "Pretty Little Liars". She is also a singer, doing occasional club performances.
"Empire" airs every Wednesday at 9 P.M. on FOX.
