The 'Transformers' actor proves that he's actually a good rapper during an appearance at Sirius XM Shade 45's 'Sway in the Morning'.
Shia LaBeouf is actually a good rapper and people are freaking out. The "Transformers" actor showed off his impressive rap skills during an appearance at Sirius XM Shade 45's "Sway in the Morning" on Friday, November 11.
During a segment called "5 Fingers of Death", Shia blew away the show's hosts with his freestyle as he was given task to invent rhymes that matched five mystery beats played by host Sway Calloway. Before taking to the mic, the "Fury" actor revealed that he's a huge hip-hop fan. He has tattoos of rap legends Tupac Shakur, the Notorious B.I.G. and Missy Elliott on his body.
"Hip-hop used to be futile, now it's Timbuktu/ Where the spitters go? Garbage-littered s**t they wrote/ Miss me with that Lil Boat/ 'Cause bigger individuals committed to these principals are living on their tippy toes," he raps, "It was written, get coked, this the shipment/ Jewish Pac to this music with a twist of Whitman/ Women, I'm the s**t, man, get the business, mint condition/ But I'm married, keep your distance."
After watching Shia's performance, Sway told the listeners, "Did you see that? This is what we've been talking about. This is what the show is about. There's no divisiveness in this show. There's no discrimination in this show. You either got bars, or you don't."
Twitter users are praising Shia for his impressive freestyle. One user writes, "Shia LaBeouf saved hip hop." A second user shares, "Shia LaBeouf a rapper posing as an actor."
