Jean Grey is rumored to finally become the Dark Phoenix which was already teased in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'.
What to expect from the next "X-Men" movie might have been revealed. According to a scoop from LRM, 20th Century Fox is mulling over the idea of revisiting "Dark Phoenix Saga". In the comics, Jean Grey becomes a threat as she is consumed by her destructive force as Dark Phoenix.
Jean Grey's huge powers as the Phoenix were already glimpsed in "X-Men: Apocalypse". The red-haired mutant unleashed the full extent of her powers to defeat En Sabah Nur. She was played by Famke Janssen in the earlier installments before Sophie Turner took over.
Rumor has it, the superhero franchise is facing a reboot following Jennifer Lawrence's departure as Mystique. Ahead of "Logan" release, Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart also hinted at their impending exits as Wolverine and Professor X respectively.
On top of that, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy might follow in Lawrence's footsteps. "Fassbender and McAvoy and I were all talking," the actress said, "Like, 'Will you come back?' 'I dunno.' 'I'll come back, if you come back.' Fox should be terrified because the deal we made was like if one of us doesn't come back, none of us are."
