A bunch of her Twitter followers freaked out after the comedienne's official Twitter page was updated with a throwback photo and a merry Christmas message.
Joan Rivers is still celebrating Christmas two years after her death. A bunch of her fans freaked out on Sunday morning, December 25 after the comedienne's official Twitter page was updated with a merry Christmas message.
"Merry Christmas!" read the caption written alongside a picture of the late star, who died in September 2014 at the age of 81 due to complication during a minor surgery, wearing an all-black outfit while standing in front of a fully-decorated Christmas tree.

Responding to the post, some fans left various comments below it. "JOAN RIVERS JUST TWEETED FROM THE GRAVE AND I CAN'T EVEN GET A TEXT BACK," one Twitter user wrote. "Tweeting from the beyond like 2016 wasn't already some hellishness," another said. "B***h I thought you were dead," another simply tweeted.

The merry Christmas message is interesting not only because it's sent out years after Rivers' passing, but also because she's actually a Jewish. A day earlier, her daughter Melissa Rivers shared on her mom's Twitter page a throwback picture of them celebrating Hanukkah in 2013.
@Joan_Rivers I thought you were Jewish!? And dead!?
