The former One Direction member delivers an optimistic message to someone going through a hard time on the Steve Aoki-assisted EDM track.
Louis Tomlinson surprises fans with an unexpected collaboration. The former One Direction member has teamed up with electro house musician Steve Aoki for a brand new song titled "Just Hold On", which is previewed in a snippet that surfaced online on Friday, December 9.
The upbeat song seems to deliver an optimistic message to someone going through a hard time as Louis sings, "Until it's all been said/ it's not over until your dying breath/ So what do you want them to say when you're gone?/ That you gave up or that you kept going on?/ What do you do when a chapter ends?/ Do you close the book and never read it again?"
He continues singing over Steve's EDM composition, "Where do you go when your story's done?/ You can be who you want or who you'll become/ If it all goes wrong, darling just hold on/ The sun goes down and it comes back up/ The world still turns no matter what."
