Bayer shares photos of her and the 'Friends' alum backstage of the NBC series, showing that they're actually good friends although Aniston scolds Bayer in the sketch.
Jennifer Aniston told Vanessa Bayer to stop impersonating her "Friends" character Rachel on "Saturday Night Live", but in reality she helped Bayer prepare for the impersonation. Following the airing of the November 3 episode, Bayer shared several backstage photos of her and Aniston.
They were holding hands while posing together in one picture, showing that they're actually good friends. Another photo showed Aniston fixing Bayer's wig. "Real Rachel helping fake Rachel!" the comedienne captioned it.

Aniston made surprise appearance during "Weekend Update" segment to scold Bayer who impersonated her "Friends" character Rachel. "You know, 'Friends' was like, 5 million and five years ago. So I think we've just gotta move on," said Aniston. Bayer responded, "Well, I don't know. I just - I thought, 'cause I do this great bit as Rachel, so..."
Aniston and Bayer star together in comedy film "Office Christmas Party", which is due out December 9.
