The 'Eyes, Nose, Lips' hitmaker ranks eighth on the list of celebrities who made the most with real estate investments.
The Big Bang member ranks eighth on the list of celebrities who made the most with real estate investments which was unveiled by tvN on Tuesday, January 16. The 29-year-old singer/songwriter reportedly earns 50.6 billion KRW per year, or around $47.6 million, from the real estate business.
Of the said sum, a small portion of it comes from a building that he rents out for $28,000 a month. He purchased the building for $7,276,995 (roughly 7.7 billion KRW). The "Darling" singer recently also bought a home worth 4.25 billion KRW (approximately $4 million), where he presumably will live after he ties the knot with his fiancee Min Hyo Rin.
Taeyang is not the only Big Bang member who has made big investments in real estate. His groupmate G-Dragon owns a 6-story building located in Cheongdam-dong which he reportedly purchased for 8.8 billion KRW (around $8 million) on November 30. The building, which has been awarded Architecture Daesang by the Gangnam district for its unique design, is situated near the subway station surrounding many entertainment companies.
As for Daesung, he purchased a building in the Gangnam district of Seoul for 30 billion won (approximately $26.9 million). According to real estate company Won Building, the building has eight floors above ground and two floors below ground. The building is in a prime location, situated on a main road near Apgujeongrodeo Station. Daesung's annual rate of return from acquiring the building is expected to be around 4.4 percent.
It looks like the three of them have secured their wealthy future even if Big Bang decides to disband one day.
