Critics' Choice Awards 2018: 'The Handmaid's Tale', 'The Voice' and 'Big Little Lies' Among Honorees

Also among the winners that night were 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' which won the award of Best Talk Show and 'Rick and Morty' which won the award of Best Animated Series.

The full list of the 23rd annual Critics' Choice Award has been revealed. The award-giving event, which was held at Santa Monica Airport's Barker Hangar in California on January 11, featured the Broadcast Film Critics Assn. and Broadcast Television Journalist Assn. honoring the best films and television series, with "The Handmaid's Tale" and "Big Little Lies" among shows taking home trophies that night.

Coming fresh off from winning four awards at the 2018 Golden Globes, "Big Little Lies" once again was the big winner that night. The hit HBO series reigned with four wins, including Best Limited Series prize and Best Actress in a Movie Made for TV or Limited Series for actress Nicole Kidman. The series, which tackled mysterious murder and domestic violence, also earned Alexander Skarsgard and Laura Dern best supporting actor and actress in limited series respectively.

Sterling K. Brown was honored with Best Actor in a Drama Series award for his stunning performance on NBC's "This Is Us". Meanwhile, Elisabeth Moss beat out Caitriona Balfe ("Outlander"), Christine Baranski ("The Good Fight"), Claire Foy ("The Crown") and Tatiana Maslany ("Orphan Black") in Best Actress in a Drama Series category thanks to her role on "The Handmaid's Tale". The Hulu series was also announced as the Best Drama Series at the event.

The Best Comedy Series award went to Amazon's "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", with star Rachel Brosnahan bagging the award of Best Actress in a Comedy Series. Meanwhile, Ted Danson from "The Good Place" won the award of Best Actor in a Comedy Series.

Also among the winners were "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" which won the award of Best Talk Show, "Rick and Morty" which won the award of Best Animated Series and "Born This Way" which took home the Best Unstructured Reality Series trophy. NBC's "The Voice" snagged the award of Best Reality Competition Series with "Rupaul's Drag Race" host RuPaul bagging the award of Best Reality Show Host.
