The 'That's So Raven' actress will return for the upcoming revival of the Disney show as a grown-up version of her original teenage character.
Raven-Symone announces that she is leaving "The View". The actress who joined the all-female talk show last year after a period of guest-hosting is expected to make her final appearance on the ABC daytime show "at the end of the year, before the year is up."
The 30-year-old star is heading back to Disney for "That's So Raven" spin-off tentatively dubbed "That's So Raven 2". She is set to return as a grown-up version of the psychic high schooler that she played for five years on the Mouse House original series.
She's "excited and sad but mostly excited." "It's Raven Baxter. I'm still me," she said on "The View" Thursday episode. "But I'm going to be a mother this time. I'm going to be a single mother raising two kids and one of them is going to learn that she has visions."
