The return of an 'Asylum' character, the tragic fate of last week's survivor and another fake show filmed in the haunted house are among the things seen in the finale.
No one's safe on "American Horror Story" - not until the season finale. While Lee was the only cast member of "3 Days in Hell" who survived in last week's episode of "Roanoke", her story didn't end there. In "Chapter 10" which aired November 16, we saw Lee facing trial for her castmates' on-camera murders. Meanwhile, Lot Polk took to YouTube to express his intention to seek justice for the death of his mother and his children.
Lee was acquitted for the murders during the "3 Days in Hell" filming, considering the fact that she suffered at the Polks' hands and the very strong and hallucinatory pot the Polks gave her. The prosecution also went after her for Mason's homicide, calling Flora to the stand to testify that she had seen her mother kill her father. However, Lee's lawyer managed to convince the jury that Flora was making things up.
Following the verdict, Lee sat down for an interview with Lana Winters, Sarah Paulson's character in "Asylum". Lana gave Lee a chance to send a message to her daughter. When Lana asked Lee where Flora was, it was revealed that her grandparents had reported her missing before the taping began.
The interview was interrupted by Lot Polk, who sought revenge for his family's deaths. Despite Lana's warning that he's on live television, he knocked Lana out and started shooting, but he was later taken out by police.
Through a clip of a ghost hunting show called "Spirit Chasers", it was revealed that the ghost hunters ran into Lee who was looking for her daughter at the haunted house during the blood moon. Things got spooky when the sun set, with the ghosts that were inhabiting the house taking the "Spirit Chasers" crew one by one.
As the police surrounded the house, Lee was reunited with Flora, but Flora wouldn't leave the house as she wanted to protect her friend Priscilla from the butcher. Lee then made a deal with her daughter, saying that she would stay in the house and protect Priscilla while Flora went to live with her grandparents. As Flora left the house, the house went up in flames with Lee inside, leaving Flora as the true survivor.
