DeBarge, who married Jackson in 1984, says their secret child does exist after he's confronted by his other daughter in an upcoming episode of 'Growing Up Hip-Hop'.
Earlier this year, Janet Jackson's ex-husband James DeBarge made a shocking claim that he actually had a daughter with her. He has once again spoken about the secret child, insisting that she exists, after getting confronted by his other daughter in a preview for the upcoming episode of "Growing Up Hip-Hop".
DeBarge and Jackson got married in 1984, but had their marriage annulled one year later in 1985. In his chat with Radar Online back in May, he said he didn't know his ex was pregnant during their relationship and he only found out about the child years later after a woman reached out to him via email to tell him that she's his and Jackson's daughter.
In the just-arrived "Growing Up Hip Hop" clip, DeBarge's daughter Kristinia asked him if she really had a step-sister. "I'm tired of the media. I'm tired of the secrecy," DeBarge told his 26-year-old daughter. "I'm tired of the truth not coming forward, and people being a coward when it comes to it. And I thought it was wise for me to speak out now because it needs to be addressed."
"To be honest with you, I didn't know," he continued. "I was under the impression that there was no baby, and I wanted to believe it's not true. But it is."
Jackson hasn't responded to the reports about her alleged secret child with DeBarge. The 50-year-old songbird is currently preparing for the arrival of her first baby with husband Wissam Al Mana.
