Kendall explains to Ellen DeGeneres that she deleted her account in order to purge negativity from her life but she promises she'll be back.
Kendall Jenner talks about ditching Instagram. A few days after deleting her account, the brunette model drops by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and explains why she gave up her social media where she had gained almost 70 million followers.
"I just wanted to detox. I just wanted a little bit of a break. I'm always on it. I would wake up in the morning and look at it first thing. I would go to bed and it was the last thing I would look at. I felt a little too dependent on it ...," the star explains.
Kendall deactivated her account following outrage over her Ballerina photo shoot. She followed in the footsteps of Justin Bieber who quit his own Instagram earlier this year. While it's unclear if Justin will ever return to the social media, Kendall assures fans that she won't be gone forever. "I'll be back," she promises. "It's been two days."
