Lil Wayne Is Working on New Music With Scott Storch

The 'Sucker for Pain' hitmaker reunites with the music producer in the recording studio, perhaps on a collaboration for the long-awaited 'Tha Carter V'.

Is Lil Wayne releasing "Tha Carter V" soon? The "Sucker for Pain" hitmaker recently hit the recording studio with his frequent collaborator Scott Storch, perhaps on a collaboration for his long-awaited twelfth studio album.

Scott shared on Instagram on Wednesday, November 9 a birds-up photo of him and Weezy in the studio. The music producer wore sunglasses, a black tee and camouflage pants, while the "Mirror" rapper sported a snapback, a grey tee and black pants.

"Election is over and storch is at least here to make hits @liltunechi_c5 #weworking," Scott wrote alongside the snap.

This isn't the first time Weezy and Scott have collaborated. The pair previously worked on Weezy's collaborations like the Fat Joe assisted "Make It Rain", "Gimme That (Remix)" featuring Chris Brown, "Lock U Down" with Mya and the joint Birdman track, "You Ain't Know".

Weezy recently received backlash over his comments on Black Lives Matter movement during an appearance on ABC's "Nightline". He later backtracked, blaming reporter Linsey Davis for questioning him about his daughter.
