Spice Girls GEM's First Single 'Song for Her' Leaks Online

Fans are in love with 'Song for Her' after the demo of the Spice Girls three-piece sub-unit surfaces online.

The first song of Spice Girls GEM, "Song for Her", has leaked online. In the approximately 3-minute track, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown cheerfully sing about girl power.

"This is a song for her/ You know you light it up," the trio sing on the chorus, "Cause you know who you are/ Stand up, stand up/ She's got that boom boom pop/ That's something they can't stop/ She's got that boom boom ooh/ Song for her."

Spice Girls fans are totally in love with "Song for Her" with some of them showing their excitement on Twitter. One fan tweets, "As long as you gals need me, I'll be here. #SongForHer." A second fan posts, "Feeling teenager again with #SpiceGirls new #SongForHer."

Emma previously said that "Song for Her" wouldn't be a single. "You know, us girls love creating stuff. We went and had a laugh in the studio," she explained back in July, "It's not a single, it's just we were creating. It's just a demo and somehow it has got out there."

On Tuesday, November 22, Geri shared on Instagram a photo of her in the recording studio along with caption, "I'm the little 'fat' sparrow' - perched up , writing some tunes ..."

Geri also hit the studio with Emma last week.
