The "Blank Space" songstress wrote inside of the card, "May your reputation shine bright this holiday season!" alongside her signature. It was an obvious reference to her recent album, who was released on November 10.
Taylor has a long history with the snake before deciding to fully embrace it for her album concept. Back in 2016, when her ex Calvin Harris claimed that she "and her team [went] so far out of their way to try and make [him] look bad," fans of the producer flooded her Instagram account's comment section with snake emojis.
Also in 2016, Taylor was involved in a feud with Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband Kanye West after Kim shared a video of Taylor signing off on Kanye's "Famous", in which he rapped, "I made that b***h [Taylor] famous."
The reality TV star shared the clip on National Snake Day and later tweeted, "Wait it's legit National Snake Day?!?!?They have holidays for everybody, I mean everything these days!"
Taylor seemingly wanted to make all the snake reference toward her as her own thing. Back in August, the singer shared a video of snake which made fans believe that a new album was coming. Taylor also released new snake-themed merchandise, including a 24-karat gold snake ring and a black hoodie with a snake emblazoned on it.
